Newborn Photography

When to Book Your Newborn Session

The ideal time to photograph your newborn is within the first 10 days post partum as this is when babies are likely to be at their sleepiest, perfect for capturing those dreamy, snuggly shots. But don’t worry if we miss that early window! Beautiful images are still absolutely possible up to 28 days pp.

Once we have your due date, I’ll pencil in three provisional dates around that time, so whether baby arrives early, late, or right on time, we’ll be ready.

If your baby has already arrived, please get in touch as soon as you can so we can secure a spot and capture those precious early moments.

What to Expect at Your Session

The studio is stocked with an ever-growing selection of newborn outfits, wraps, and props. You’re also very welcome to bring along anything special you’d like your baby to be photographed in or with, personal touches can make the session even more meaningful.

After your session, I’ll carefully hand-edit your images and within 2–3 weeks, you’ll receive access to a private online gallery where you can view, favourite, share, and download your chosen images. You’ll also have the option to order extra prints and digital files if you wish.

With gentle direction & flattering poses, I'll guide you every step of the way, no modelling experience needed whatsoever! We'll create a space where you can feel confident, beautiful and free to be yourself.
